I like to reflect on the past a lot. It is why I am a photographer. I was looking through weddings I shot many years ago and came across this one in particular. The photography I create is important to me, and in a world where photography is continually appreciated less I find myself clinging to it tighter.
The thing is, I end up changing as a person as a result of meeting so many different kinds of people. Sometimes I meet a client with a set of ideals or a lifestyle that I really admire, and I end up adopting it myself. I am a better person for my experiences, and the result is the work I produce for other peoples major life events end up meaning a lot to me because of what I took from those people.
