I love the moments that happen between formal photos as much as I love the formal photo.
I believe in the importance of high quality classic family portraiture. Nothing beats it for family history records. However these moments that can be captured that are at once candid, natural, and staged, by waiting for the moment where everyone has broken their concentration on the photo often end up being my favourite.
