Marriage Proposal
The overcast day was perfect for photography as we captured Alan's surprise Marriage Proposal to Gina.
The romantic soundtrack was provided live by one of Perth's favourite acoustic musicians Ezereve. Alan set the scene by taking Gina on a scenic ride in a princess carriage, supplied by Perth Horse and Carriage.
Gina said "Yes!"
To capture Alan's marriage proposal in South Perth, we were faced with a number of challenges. The event took place over a large stretch of the Swan River foreshore. Rob took to bike riding as a solution for covering the distance fast enough to keep up with the horse and carriage. This also allowed him to unlock and open the park gates ahead of the carriage.
We had fixed cameras installed into the carriage which occasionally spotted us at work. Here is a great screen grab of Rob on the bike, with his Leica camera in hand.
