I first met Peter and Sacha when we worked together at BOCS Ticketing selling tickets to theatre, concerts and sporting events. We always had a lot of fun and many laughs together both at work and at social functions with the BOCS and theatre crew.
It was clear from the first time I saw them that they were meant to be together … always. They perfectly complimented each other in every way, sometimes to hilarious result - when Peter would crack a dirty joke Sacha would tell him off, or just give him a look to let him know what he thought … such a perfect connection, a perfect match!
When I heard they planned to legally marry after 30 years I knew we just had to be the company to capture this momentous occasion. This was a marriage we knew would be genuinely heart-felt and full of love.
Peter waited with his best man Stanley in front of the arbour, as Sacha walked up the stairs on the arm of his maid of honour Farah.
Peter and Sacha were married at the top of the first floor staircase at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre by one of their closest friends, celebrant Jay Walsh.
A beautiful ceremony followed with Peter and Sacha exchanging personally written vows to each other. The formalities were full of fun and laughter, and included “How Falling In Love Is Like Owning A Dog” read by close friend Cheryl.
Their wedding dinner reception followed inside on the theatre stage. Dramatically lit with strings of fairy lights and other mood lighting - it looked like the set of a theatre production, one created for their very own show!
There was live music by Joi Ride Trio belting out wonderful cabaret numbers as well as other more modern songs to keep the guests up and dancing throughout the night.

Sacha surprised Peter during their cake cutting with a gold confetti drop.
They showed off their wonderful dancing skills during their first dance and also later on, during more lively dance numbers.
