Weddings at St Mary’s Cathedral Perth

Between the years of 2006 and 2009 St Mary's Catholic Cathedral in Perth City, Western Australia, was closed while construction and renovation changed the shape and feel of the building. I remember having a couple of weddings on the table which were all tentatively booked for a date based on whether the church would be open or not. Lucky of everyone, they all got to go ahead. Since its opening it has been a hub for catholic wedding ceremonies in Perth. Its location in the centre of the CBD and huge size makes it unique. Being close to all of the major CBD hotels means it is convenient both for reception venue locations but also accommodation for guests travelling from interstate or overseas.
