Surprise
Our first Surprise wedding won us a silver at the International WEVA awards back in 2009.
I met Chris and Heather at a wedding expo and they pitched me the idea of sneaking us into their engagement party as long time friends from long ago. The goal was to announce the wedding for all present to be part of, and we were to film the surprise reaction.
First we had to help set up a bogus wedding date, just as a distraction…
After that nobody suspected the engagement party would be announced to be the actual wedding.
Of course we were thrilled with the opportunity to immortalise the moments when they introduced their daughter Chloe to close family members in the maternity ward in the following year.
We love checking those family landmarks as client stay in touch with us on their journey. It is an honour I hold in high regard. One of my favourite shoots was when Chloe was introduced to her little brother Cooper on his birthday.
